HEY! Long time no see. I decided to post a blog every two weeks from now on, it helps me to really think about the message I want to share and how much should I write. I also have been in a season of just learning to trust God in every moment of my life, and actually that’s the message I have today. How to trust God in every situation. In all honesty, I have not mastered this at all, it’s still a daily battle between the physical facts and the spiritual truth, and I don’t think it will ever really be mastered in this life. So I want to give you and me both a sprinkle of hope today.
God has been revealing His faithfulness to me lately, more than ever. Or maybe I’ve just been more receiving… He has shown me chapters from the Bible where people would doubt themselves, the situation they were in or even God, yet He always came through at the right time in the right way. We have Moses, who eventually lead Israelites away from Egypt and it’s slavery. He doubted his own skills of speech and his authority over them. God was patient with him and told him to get his brother, Aaron, to speak for him. And he did as God told him to do. Although he did question God’s ability to provide everything he needed in that moment, God didn’t turn His back away from Moses nor did He give up on him. Moses still lead the people. And through Bible we see similar stories, where people have so many doubts and they recognize their weaknesses yet God uses them in the very area they lacked.
It is good to have a humble heart, it’s good to understand we’re not perfect. But what I’ve come to realize is, God always uses people that lack of things. He was ready to use Moses to speak to the people, even though he stutters. He said to Moses that He would give him the words and he didn’t have to worry. But Moses failed to understand how powerful God is, so in the end God found another way to finish His work. Which is interesting to me how nothing stops God from finishing what He started, even if it meant that God had to use another person instead of me. He never forces Himself to us.
I had an opportunity to go towards something that I really wanted and I prayed about it and was so sure that it was meant for me. I was saying to God “this is it! This is my breakthrough! And once it’s mine, my life is going to be so perfect, and then I’ll be happy and I can start serving God and live a full life!!” I was so excited and ready. And while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being excited and making future plans, we still need to be mindful of not making our plans and goals our identity and let it take all control over us. It’s easy to think that hey I got this, I’m in total control of this now, God I don’t need you anymore… and then we end up not succeeding in that one plan, getting that specific dream job, or that spouse we thought we wanted. I didn’t get what I thought I wanted, and I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I asked God what is wrong with me? Why don’t You want me to succeed? Why is it everyone else but me?
I wrote about two situations that require a different type of trust in God. And the point I want to make today is:
1. God can show His power and His faithfulness in our weaknesses. When we lack of something, God can fill that spot in His power, He can use us in a way that might physically seem impossible to us. And that’s how He makes Himself known to us. For me speaking about my faith and speaking to people about it has always been a scary thing, at some point I said to God, I am not a good speaker, I get shy in front of people, yet He said “Ella, I have called you to teach and speak to people about me. Don’t worry about the how, just trust me.” I tried to not listen to this because I still feel like I can’t do it. And I probably can’t, not in my own strength at-least, but the beautiful thing is I don’t need to have it in me. God already has it in Him. He promised to provide us with the gifts and words we need when we go and do His work ( 1 Kings 4:29). It is not us but Him who moves the mountains.
2. Trusting God is not asking for something and saying you trust it and immediately getting what you wish for. It is trusting that even if God doesn’t give you the thing you wanted, He is still good, He still works in your favor and He still has GREAT plans for your life. He provides us what we need, not necessarily what we want. And yes He also gives us what we want, but sometimes our hearts and minds are not yet mature enough for us to receive it, or we won’t be grateful yet even if we got it. Sometimes He has to say wait in order to complete His perfect promises in our lives. Or even no because 90% of the time we don’t know what’s for the best, and we think something looks good so it must be the best. And also knowing that in the waiting, it doesn’t mean God is not doing anything. You can recognize this by looking back and noticing that in the process you’ve grown, overcome a lot of obstacles and He answered prayers that you prayed a long time ago. He is always moving and changing things in our lives.
Just because we don’t see things happening now, it doesn’t mean we have to be discouraged. We need to learn to lean on God and know that He is our perfect Father, He does all for the good of those that love Him (Romans 8:28). He has promises and plans for your life, He loves you and He wants you to know that even in this season He is good and He is there for you to abide in. He wants you to be His friend and trust Him. I promise you, it will change your life completely. Better yet He will change your life completely. So I want to pray that all the discouraged people out there could get a hold of the hope You bring, Jesus, let their hearts be ready for the great miracles and breakthroughs You have for each of these wonderful people. Let them know how their uniqueness was meant for Your great purposes. And that Your love for them has never nor will it ever end. Let them be overwhelmed by Your love and let Your grace shine upon them today. In Jesus’ name, I pray. AMENNNN!!! Also I encourage y’all to read the book of Exodus, Daniel 3 and Genesis 17. They are all good examples of God’s power, love and faithfulness.

I’ll gladly pray for you. But my advice for you is to also sit down and be completely quiet in His presence, sometimes our surroundings are too noisy for us to be able to focus on God and give Him the turn to speak. Sometimes it could also be Him telling you to wait. Wait on Him and His perfect timing for whatever you face. I hear a lot of people tell me that even silence is an answer, we just have to give time to God and to ourselves to really understand. And I’d definitely advice reading and studying the Word, God speaks in many different ways that we don’t even realize. But mostly His voice can be heard through His Word, if our Bibles are closed, we shouldn’t be too surprised if God is also quiet.

Today I lit some candles and looking at all those flames I had a good impression and I put my hands together and I tried to pray and I felt a strange sensation inside me. It was beautiful and I believe that He was there with me, in that light, and I felt reassured. I thank you for your sweet words. I hope to be able to do this more and more. Peace and serenity to you and thanks from my heart. 🌻🌼🌸🌺🌹

It takes time to make it a habit. I struggle with it time to time. But the good thing is He is patient and loving towards us at all times🥹
