It has become a trend to go back to more natural products. People are more aware of what they should put in their body or on their skin. But sometimes it’s either super expensive or hard to figure out what “natural” products are actually natural. And because one thing fits for someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean it fits me. So I decided to enter this journey with an open mind. Today I’m going to share some of my favorite natural products. But before I do, once again, I want to let you know that it might not work for you but I recommend trying them. Also I highly recommend doing your own natural skin products.. sometimes it may be a little more budget friendly than buying a certain brand and safer too!! I’ll share my recipes whenever I find some that are worth the try. But here’s the list of some of my favorite natural, sustainable and some even local (to my NC people!!) products. ENJOY! ❤
J+L Naturals is a sustainable and natural brand owned by Jenn and Laith. Their story is worth the reads haha! They are located here in North Carolina… which is awesome! Because who doesn’t want to support local businesses?!?
The products that I have tried from them so far have not disappointed. And here’s a picture of my absolute favorite. Their lip balms are the BOMB!!! I love the Strawberry Vanilla especially, the scent is just sooo inviting!

Fiddle Tree Farm is located in Apex, NC. They’re a family owned farm that raises goats, rabbits, pigs, and chickens. And their most popular products are made of goat milk. They have a nice selection of other things too, such as facial bars, migraine relief oil, etc… which is awesome. I love their lotions though! They come in different scents and an unscented one too. But I’m all about this specific scent. I mean come on, why wouldn’t I wanna smell like a creamsicle!! And it makes my skin feel super smooth!

Huppy mostly makes toothpaste and mouthwash… but here’s the little twist… *DrUm RoLlS*… they’re TABLETS!!! It sounds so weird right! But I personally LOVE them! 10/10!! Perfect! All you do is you chew the tablets and wether it’s a toothpaste one you just start brushing once it breaks down.. or if it’s a mouthwash tablet, you sip a little water and do whatchu do with mouthwash haha! Their mission is to be more sustainable.. so their packaging is refillable, recyclable and some are compostable. And their ingredients are ethically sourced. Which is an important topic that not too many talk about…

This lovely business makes hair care products that love the planet and us people. They’re made from ingredients that are suitable for vegan lifestyle. They’re cruelty-free and zero-waste!! I was super nervous to try their shampoo bar at first.. because I never use any type or soap bars. And so using that to wash my hair sounded crazy! But I’m telling you, my hair loves it! I use their coconut one called The Smooth Criminal (it smells like real coconuts) because my hair is the dry type. But they have different shampoo/conditioner bars for all types of hair! All you do is you wet your hair and the bar a little and just massage your hair with it. And trust you don’t need to do that for too long because a little goes a long way with this bad boy! I have yet to try their conditioner but I might need to do it soon. I highly recommend! Oh and they’re also in the NC Triangle area!!

Okay, I gotta be honest. I only recently found iut about them. I’ve been going through a lot different natural deodorants and none of them worked.. they definitely fought the odors but made me sweat more because of the oils in the products. And I had to almost give up… but then Salt & Stone came to my rescue. Not only is their packaging kinda cute.. but it is so nice to my sensitive skin! Like it’s a kiss from a butterfly type of feeling! And the scent is amazing! They have a good selection of scents, some more masculine, some more feminine. Their ingredients are clean and well thought. I think I can just say it…. I’M IN LOVE!! And there’s no turning back.🫣🥹

That’s it for now. But I recently discovered another NC owned beauty line called R.Drew Naturals. I will let you guys know how it goes and if it’s worth it. And if there’s some other products and brands that I want to highlight. Also please feel free to share if you know of any brands that do natural and sustainable beauty/skin/hair products! Your girl is on a constant look-out!🤪 Other than that, I pray that this week brings you many moments full of joy and peace. And that you’re able to spend some time in the nature and be a blessing to the people around you. May the peace and protection of our King Jesus surround you and His Holy Spirit guide you. Amen💕
